Major project

Recently, most people dependence on medicine like supplements, any pills. at supplements even enough they do not know how it was made.



Supplements brands and products

This is the brand of supplements list. I researched supplements brand.

We have large numbers of supplement brand despite we have enough food and nutrition.

When I enter the supplements home pages, they did not explain about bad side effects of the supplement. I can not find bad effects and I can find only benefit aspects of drugs.

Therefore customers who they do not know about bad effects of drugs have been buying the supplements and they have a blind faith to drugs.

Process of work

I chose pills like that because the shape is an oval that can carve easily. 

That's why I chose the pill.

This pill size is almost 1.7x0.7cm

I drew a design of lung on the pill using the pencil.This pill size is too small, therefore I drew the design carefully.

And I cut the pill along the pencil line using a craft knife.

This knife is that I used while working.
This knife angle is sharper than other knives, therefore I used this knife.

I carved it more and more smoothly like lungs. Also, I rubbed pill's surface with small particle sandpaper. This is left side of lungs.

Also I made kidneys with the same way.

Kidneys have delicate shape, thus I carved pills my hart and soul.

I made lungs, kidneys, liver, brain and stomach.
I don't want to colouring on my pills, because if I coloured on the pills, it may be not pills that I pursuit mean. I want to keep white colour. When various colours of lights gather, it becomes white, likewise, the pills equate to this. The pills were made by various ingredients which we don't know. I equated white and ignorance of people. Therefore this means bring to a conclusion that most people have a  blind faith and ignorance about medicines and supplements ingredients.

I drew overall my work display form.

But when I considered time, place, capital and ability, I think left top and bottom of paper is appropriate to my work. Accordingly I will take photography that display form.

Reflection

At first when I thought about carving pills, I thought it will be easy to me because my high school major was sculpture. But it was really difficult because this pills were too small and the pills were too delicate. Thus I broken many pills. Also carving was dangerous work. But I tried to carve pills again and again. Finally I mastered how to carve the pills elaborately. I made around 7 to 10 organ pills and the shape was brain, liver, lungs, kidney and stomach.
